1966 Impala Pro Street Body is all steel with a long list of professionally done old school custom tricks. Some of the more noticeable items are: Molded wiper cowl panel. All seams, and molding mounting holes welded shut. Rear Bumper and ¼ extensions molded in. Shaved Drip rail. Flush fit front and rear glass. Molded in fabricated rear roll pan. Fully welded wheel tubs and rear floors. Paint is Base coat clear coat Black urethane wet sanded and buffed glassy smooth. Beautiful custom interior and trunk compartment. Full roll cage all tig welded. 6 way Power seats Tilt Steering Stereo Has a “mini” fold down back seat between the wheel tubs. Fuel cell is hidden in the trunk. Switch panel under dash Featuring a Push button start, elect fans, electric fuel pump, electric water pump. Master on-Off Switch, and auto storage charger built in. Has all street legal items, headlights, tail lamps, brake lights, turn signals and horn functioning. Custom dash, and Console with custom gauges. 454 LS6 GM Crate engine with very few miles on it. Runs on 91 Octane unleaded. 4 Wheel Disc brakes Turbo 400 trans, with2200 rpm stall speed Pro built Back Half Chassis. Original 66 Impala Frame from rear torque boxes forward. Al sheet metal in the rear half interior areas was welded solid. No stitch or spot welding here. Body and Frame are welded together as a one piece unit for strength. Chassis Works Fab9, Ford 9inch, Fabricated housing, 35 spline axles, Nodular center section, 3:55 gears. Adjustable Coil Over shocks on all 4 corners. Adjustable Ladder bar rear suspension Mickey Thompson Sportsman Street Radial tires 33x22x15 rears 26x8x15 fronts Always stored in Climate controlled garage and professionally maintained. Car is rock solid, straight as an aero, no rattles, drives super smooth, is very comfortable and reliable. Car has 100 unleaded in it for storage reasons. It runs on 91. This car is built to be NHRA legal, strong enough, safe enough so if someone wanted to put a Monster Motor in it, and race it they could without issue. The Chassis would hold a lot of power with no problems The Current owner has not raced it. It’s only been driven on the street occasionally.
