1940 Ford Deluxe Tudor Sedan
This beautiful all steel 1940 Ford Deluxe Sedan is as smooth and nice to look at as it is to drive. This is a rust free ride, nosed decked, shaved and free of bling and the stunning Cherokee Red paint still looks wet it has such a high gloss. It has been built right, drives right, and has lasting value. Every aspect of the car was done with road worthiness, comfort, and easy handling in mind. Because of that, and because it has been meticulously cared for and maintained, it remains a dependable, reliable ride today – a proven road car that will get you wherever you are going without any unscheduled stops on the side of the road.
This Ford runs Mustang II independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering. Both front and rear wheels have dual piston power disk brakes calipers. Under the hood a beautifully detailed Corvette LT1 350 CID engine with tuned port injection is bolted up to a GM 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission; and aft, a 9 inch Ford rearend gets the power to the ground. The car runs cool, with both mechanical and electric fans, a frame mounted transmission cooler, and features serpentine belts and tubular exhaust headers that feed a big 3 inch single exhaust. Radial rubber is mounted on genuine Halibrand knockoff Rims.
The interior is finished in embroidered marine vinyl with a Southwest motif, Vintage air conditioning, a concert hall sound system with AM/FM/CD/MP3, tilt steering column, Grant steering wheel, power windows, and Dakota Digital instruments. The brilliant red finish is tastefully accented and pinstriped. Other details include keyless entry with remote operated door poppers and trunk lid popper, one piece windshield, electric windshield wipers, tinted glass, halogen headlights, stainless steel fuel tank, and a fully upholstered trunk. Underneath, the car is hospital clean, and, like all of the other attention to detail, this Ford a cut above the average.
There isn’t another 40 Tudor out there that has the same features at a better price.
