1957 Ford Custom 300,
Beautiful frame-off restoration of this rare '57 Custom 300. Paint (Ford Red Toreador and GM Light Pewter Metallic) and body work is perfect. All chrome was re-plated. All new smoke tinted glass.
LED headlights. Vintage Air AC, Dakota Digital Gauges, Classic Car Stereo AM/FM w/ aux input. Power front disk brakes and rack and pinion steering. Highly detailed chassis with dual exhaust and Magnaflow mufflers. 3.56 to 1 nine inch rear w/ Posi-traction. Ididit adjustable steering column w/14" Billet Specialties steering wheel. Beefed up 2500 rpm stall speed C-6 three speed automatic transmission with Gear Venders Under-Overdrive. Four new QA1 adjustable shocks. Billet Specialties wheels wearing Toyo Proxes 245/45R17 Radials.
The engine is a 390 FE stroked to 434 cu in. Using Valvoline VR1 10W30 Racing oil with zinc and a WIX 51515 filter. FiTech fuel injection with latest software. In-tank fuel pump. Pro Max Aluminum heads w/10-1 compression, Polished Edelbrock intake manifold, finned aluminum Cobra valve covers, '54 Cadillac air cleaner painted to match the body, roller lifter cam makes an awesome sound at idle. Runs great with 91 octane fuel. All mods on this engine were made to improve original oiling issues, such as cobra aluminum baffled oil pan, etc. Dyno showed 400 sea level HP.
