A one-off show winning road legal 1955 Nash Metropolitan Pro-Street Coupe (based on the Hot Wheels Metrorail dragster).
Original factory all steel body with a total 3 foot stretch and 2 inch roof chop and a 4 inch roof extension. Show quality factory paint colors with airbrushed chrome accents. Running on a custom made Chris Alston chassis, 4-Link Marc Williams suspension, WilWood disc brakes and a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear.
Powered by a Smeding balanced and blue printed Big Block Chevy 572ci with a Blower Shop 8-71 supercharger. 960hp at 6,200rpm on 91 oct pump gas. Transmission is a modified Turbo 400.
Originally registered/titled and road legal in California, it now has been registered/titled and road legal in Washington state.
Won 2 awards for the 2022 season so far, including Judges Choice Award. No expense was spared on this build. Mixing modern features with originality from the Carbon Seats, digital back up camera to the factory ashtray and dashboard.
Extra touches include remote open headers, flame thrower option to the push button burn out mode.
