Offering for sale a one-off 1927 Hupmobile Hot Rod / Street Rod. This 8-year professional build includes many original components including the steel body, turn signals, radiator cowling and headlights. The rest of the vehicle has been highly modified to retain the classic original look, while adding many modern touches for performance, comfort and reliability. The foundation is a hand-fabricated fully custom chassis and steel cage paint matched body color. Powered by a fresh famed Chrysler Hemi with not only tons of power, but lots of billet accessories, and topped with Holley tri-power. Long tube headers flow thru Borla mufflers and custom dual exhaust including cutouts for when you need more noise. Complete exhaust system has been ceramic coated. Power moves from the engine into a Coan converter and a built 200-4R 4-speed automatic transmission. A 5-link QA1 adjustable coil over shock suspended Ford 9 inch drives the 15x10 ET wheels and big rear tires. Wilwood multi-piston calipers and rotors all the way around including electronic power brake booster bring things to a stop. Vehicle has been topped by very unique beautiful vinyl. The upholstery on this Hup was done by a professional upholsterer who is known for her high end work and it is extremely refined. Charcoal leather bucket seats, custom dash with Autometer gauge instruments gauge cluster, leather wrapped billet steering wheel, IDIDIT tilt steering column are just some of the features. The inside roofline below the top has been stylishly finished with wood lattice.
This '27 is a Detroit Autorama 1st Place Winner and was judged Top 100 Street Rods in America. No expense spared and you can't build this vehicle for the twice the asking price.
