Description:
The 240Z, known in certain markets as the Fairlady Z, debuted in late 1969 as a 1970 model. This example from the subsequent year was reportedly driven on a regular basis for its first decade, then placed into storage in 1981 where it resided in safekeeping until 2019. A subsequent restoration was carried. Along with the fastidious refurbishment, a fresh coat of Racing Green (907) paint was applied along with factory-correct white accent stripes on the side panels, sail panel logos, and other OEM badging. Brightwork is comprised of the front and rear bumpers, window surrounds, tailpipe, and door handles which were all refinished as part of the cosmetic refreshment.
