Description:
1960 (not Plymouth until 1961) Valiant Suburban station wagon project car, unfinished. Original 1960 car resto-modded from ground up. Body work all metal (all rust removed, no Bondo), 1964 Valiant K-member to accept new suspension and engine, modified with rebuilt 225ci Slant-6 engine with 4-bbl Holley carburetor, Chrysler A833 4-spd/OD transmission, 15-in Rallye wheels, front disc brakes, power brake booster, VintageAir heater, 2-speed wiper, new-manufacture radiator, custom gas tank, original radio modified for Bluetooth/USB, rebuilt dashboard instrument cluster, new windshield, new rubber, back-up lights. Car has most parts for completion (and extra parts included), missing only interior (custom interior was planned for this vehicle). Chrome stripped from trim pieces, original plan was to powder coat with subdued colour. Body colour is a custom grey-green shade that was inspired by the famous Valiant wagon racer, "Prince Valiant." Restoration/assembly is approximately 80-85% complete, most work to complete will be installation of custom interior (seats and hardware are included). Owner recently moved to Louisiana, car is physically located in southern California, car is being sold because of owner's move out of California and career change. Transaction (including showing of the vehicle and questions answered) will be handled by owner's agent who has been working on the car. Over $75,000 invested in the project, selling for a reduced price because assembly of the vehicle is not yet complete. Images displayed with ad show car in its current condition (hood, glass and trim removed, shop dust on the body), but the entire resto-mod effort has been extensively documented and can be shown upon request.
