1955 2dr Bel Air Hardtop project car for sale by owner. I have been slowly restoring this car for 10 years and it is ready to be finished. Great care has been taken to do the best job possible on this frame off restoration with 100's of hours personal work. I am reluctantly selling my pride and joy because my health prevents me from continuing with the restoration. It was bought from a shop that had just picked it up from a barn in west Texas where it had been sitting for over 30 years. The paint was professionally stripped and painted with grey epoxy automotive paint to protect it and the frame has been powder coated. Metal work was done by a local restoration shop and is about 90% complete. It still needs body work to finish preparing it for paint. Original parts are included as well as 1000's of dollars of quality new parts ready to be installed. Included are brand new front and rear bumpers, new Blueprint Engines 383 small block dynoed at over 400hp, Tremec 5 speed transmission with hydraulic clutch with ZERO miles on them, Eddie Motor Sports engine package, QA1 adjustable shocks with coilover springs, Wilwood disk brakes and Cragar 17in wheels and new tires on all four corners.
